Tour Program
ANTALYA – ISTANBUL – BARCELONA
Meeting with our valued guests at Antalya Airport International Departures Terminal at least 3 hours before the flight. We depart for Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, following ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, we continue to Barcelona on THY flight number ***. Arrival at ***. Upon arrival, we set off to begin our Barcelona city tour. During our panoramic city tour, the Sagrada Familia, also known as the “Unfinished Church,” Plaça d’Espanya, Plaça de Catalunya, Gaudí’s houses (Casa Batlló and Casa Milà), La Rambla, and Port Olímpic will be among the sights visited. After the city tour, the rest of the day is free. Overnight at our hotel.
BARCELONA
After breakfast at the hotel, the entire day is free. Guests who wish may join the Girona & Figueras Tour (€70), which will be organized optionally by our guide. We begin our tour with Girona, located on the banks of the Onyar River and reminiscent of Florence at first glance, as well as being the wealthiest city in the region. Girona is a charming medieval city well worth seeing, with its narrow streets and cathedral; it is also where scenes from the film Perfume were shot. During our panoramic tour, we will see the Lion statue, Cathedral Square, houses with mezuzahs, the Jewish Quarter, La Rambla, and its famous shops. After some free time, we depart for the town of Figueras, enjoying views of the Pyrenees Mountains along the way. The town has such an impressive atmosphere that it inspired the world-renowned, unconventional painter Salvador Dalí throughout his life. Here, we will visit the museum house decorated by the famous surrealist painter Salvador Dalí himself. Following our visit to this museum, where each work is valued at millions of dollars and which houses his thought-provoking works, including those depicting his eternal love, Gala, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
BARCELONA – ZARAGOZA – MADRID
After breakfast, we will depart for Madrid. Guests who wish may join the Zaragoza Tour (€30), which will be organized optionally by our guide. During the tour, the Ebro River, the city’s central cathedral, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, La Seo Cathedral, San Pablo Church, Plaza España, and the Pillar Bridge will be among the sights visited. We will then continue to Madrid. Transfer to our hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Madrid
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our Madrid city tour. We start with Plaza Mayor, the large square. This square has 136 buildings and 437 balconies opening onto the courtyard. In the past, bullfights and people burned by the Inquisition were watched from these balconies. The city’s heart, Puerta del Sol; Plaza Mayor; Plaza de Oriente, where the Royal Palace addresses the public; the Alcala Gate, built as an entrance to demonstrate how wealthy the city was; Gran Via, which captivates visitors with its gallery-style roofs; Plaza Colon; Cibeles Square and its fountain; and the Cervantes Monument are among the places we will see. Afterward, free time is available. Guests who wish may join the Toledo tour organized by our guide as an optional excursion (€65). Toledo is a genuine open-air museum and the former capital of Spain, and is one of the most important cities on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Home to the country’s most impressive cathedral and works by world-famous painters, it competes with some of the world’s leading museums. Known as the city of El Greco, Toledo has remained unchanged since the 16th century. Its buildings bear traces of Roman, Visigothic, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture. With its narrow streets, El Greco’s paintings, traditional pastry shops, Damascene craft stores, and, of course, its famous cathedral, it is a major tourist attraction. Another Toledo tradition dating back to the time when the Arabs conquered the city is the production of marzipan. A visit to Toledo cannot be considered complete without tasting this mouthwatering confectionery. After our walk through the Jewish Quarter, we depart for our hotel in Madrid. Overnight at our hotel.
MADRID – ISTANBUL-ANTALYA
After breakfast at the hotel, free time until the time determined by our guide. Afterwards, transfer to the airport. Departure for Istanbul Airport on Turkish Airlines flight TK1860 at ***, arriving at ***. Upon arrival, departure for Antalya at the specified time.
