(100 Euros) Our tour begins in the city of Girona, known as the pearl of Northern Catalonia, situated at the confluence of the Onyar, Galligants, and Güell rivers. The region is historically very rich, with remnants of dozens of invasions and periods of rule dating back to the Iberians. Since all the structures were built of stone and have been very well preserved to this day, they fully reflect the spirit of the past. It is a favorite among tourists with its museums, churches, narrow cobblestone streets, and medieval walls. The Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and Jewish Quarter are among the places to be seen. Following our tour, we depart for the city of Figueras. Its importance lies in the fact that the surrealist artist Salvador Dali was born here in 1904. Dali established a museum here to leave something behind in the place of his birth and to exhibit his works. Today, this museum has the largest Dali collection and is known as Dali’s greatest work, as he designed every part of it. The museum houses more than 4,000 works created by Dali using different techniques. Finally, on our return journey, we will visit La Roca Village outlet, which houses many world-renowned brands. The Maricel Palace and Museum, located within the medieval city center and featuring outstanding examples of Modernism, is practically a paradise for collection enthusiasts. The place we will stop at directly opposite is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in the Catalonia region. When he began exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges, he played the greatest role in making the town so well known. After seeing the colorful houses and charming bars in the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, which features horror and fantasy films and attracts thousands of people every year, is held, we will proceed towards the beach and spend the rest of our time enjoying the day like the locals.
