After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, our guests who wish may optionally join the Girona & Figueras and La Roca Outlet Tour (Dali Museum), which will be organized as an extra. (100 Euros) Our tour begins with the city of Girona, established at the point where the Onyar, Galligants and Güell rivers converge and known as the pearl of Northern Catalonia. The region is historically very rich, with monuments remaining from dozens of invasions and reigns since the Iberians. Since all the structures were built of stone and have been very well preserved to this day, they fully reflect the spirit of the past. It is a favorite destination for tourists with its museums, churches, narrow cobblestone streets and medieval walls. The Lion Statue, Cathedral Square and the Jewish Quarter are among the places to be seen. Following our tour, we depart for the city of Figueras. Its significance lies in the fact that the surrealist artist Salvador Dali was born here in 1904. Dali established a museum here to leave something in the place where he was born and to display his works. Today, this museum has the largest Dali collection and is known as Dali’s greatest work because he designed every part of it. The museum contains more than 4,000 works created by Dali using different techniques. Finally, on our return journey, we will visit La Roca Village outlet, which houses many world-famous brands. Following breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the extra Park Güell & Gothic Quarter tour. (80 Euros) This park, which has been protected by UNESCO and is known as the Fairy-Tale Park, is a work by Antoni Gaudí. With its colorful main stairways and imaginary mansions, it creates a fairytale atmosphere. After our visit, we set off towards the Gothic Quarter. With its medieval structures, romantic squares, Roman Walls, churches, labyrinthine streets, cafés and souvenir shops, you will enjoy spending time in the Gothic Quarter without getting bored. Following our tour, guests who wish may also join the extra Sitges tour. (50 Euros) The town of Sitges is located 35 km southwest of Barcelona. This is a place with the spirit of a typical Mediterranean town, and with its perfect location between the mountains and the sea, it is one of the destinations that has risen in popularity in recent years. We will begin our visit at the magical steps of the Cathedral of San Bartolome-Santa Tecla and lose ourselves in its historic streets. Dating back to the 17th century, this cathedral was built on the remains of former Romanesque and Gothic churches. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next stop will be the historic streets of Sitges. The Maricel Palace and Museum, located within the medieval city center and featuring outstanding examples of Modernism, is practically a paradise for collection enthusiasts. The place we will stop at directly opposite is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in the Catalonia region. When he began exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges, he played the greatest role in making the town so well known. After seeing the colorful houses and charming bars in the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, which features horror and fantasy films and attracts thousands of people every year, is held, we will proceed towards the beach and spend the rest of our time enjoying the day like the locals. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may join the extra Flamenco tour.
