This trip is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified to you through your agency.

HEALTH

There is no vaccination requirement at the Italy entry. We do not think you will encounter any issue that will threaten your health with the meals to be taken at the region's good restaurants and hotels. However, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, eat meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and for fruit, eat fruits that can be peeled, such as bananas and pineapples.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency we receive service from with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If the required number is not reached, the excursions may not be carried out or the prices, content, and vehicle used for the optional tour/activity may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide according to the open/closed status of the museums, archaeological sites, or venues at the places to be visited and according to weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated km. 

3-person rooms may be allocated depending on hotel availability, and the bed provided to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are folding beds and so-called coach beds, participants are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the bed type in 3rd-person and/or child reservations. 

Child discounts are valid only for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts included in the tour program and taken at the hotel are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country being visited and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.

CURRENCY

The currency of India is the Indian Rupee. (INR)

It is useful to have US Dollars (USD) with you. Although credit card usage is quite common, caution should be exercised against credit card fraud.

TIME ZONE

It is 2.5 hours ahead of Turkey. When it is 12:00 in Turkey, it is 14:30 in India.

CLOTHING AND REQUIRED ITEMS

If traveling in the summer season, we recommend that you bring T-shirts that can be easily put on and taken off, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for the evenings, and a light sweater.  In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards. In the winter season, we recommend clothing that allows you to move comfortably and keep warm.

FOOD CULTURE

Italian cuisine, which shows differences by region, is among the richest cuisines in the world with the contributions of Mediterranean influence. From snacks prepared with fresh tomatoes, greens, and country-specific cheeses, to pizzas with wonderful flavors, pasta made with a wide variety of sauces, to seafood, it offers a broad selection.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country will be granted. The passport police have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the 28.09.1955 Hague Protocol. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and special flights, or hours may change before the current trip and flight. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees. 

The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of the cities, lasting at most 2-3 hours, carried out panoramically with narration by the guide from inside the vehicle and not including museum or site entrances. The agency is not responsible if the panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, cannot be carried out on the day and time of the tour due to restrictions imposed by local authorities, prohibition of visits or entry, or closed roads due to any event, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. Some tours may be carried out by public transport or on foot, if possible, at points where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Kathmandu
After meeting at Istanbul Airport’s International Terminal, we complete our baggage, ticket, and passport procedures and board our scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to Kathmandu. On our journey into Nepal’s enchanting atmosphere, we spend the night on the plane.
Kathmandu - Nagarkot
Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, we are greeted at the airport and leave the terminal to enjoy our buffet breakfast at a hotel near the airport. After breakfast and a short rest, we begin our Kathmandu city tour, the mysterious city of the Himalayas. Today we will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the cultural center of the city, home to the former royal palace, the Golden Gate, and many historical monuments and temples. In this square, we will have the opportunity to see up close many historic structures and temples listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and we will admire the intricacies of Nepal’s traditional architecture. After the tour, we head to Nagarkot, located at an altitude of approximately 2,200 meters above sea level. In this region, famous for its panoramic views of the Himalayas, it is possible, especially in clear weather, to see many peaks from afar, including Everest. Upon arrival in Nagarkot, we transfer to our hotel. Dinner and accommodation will be at our hotel.
Nagarkot
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for Changunarayan Temple. Also known as Changu, Changu Narayan, or Dolagiri, it is situated on a high hill and is one of the most important sacred sites dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Surrounded by champak trees in a natural setting and nestled within the traditional fabric of Changu village, this temple is considered one of Nepal’s oldest temples and is highly revered by the Hindu people. After visiting the temple, we take a gentle walk from Changu Narayan to Telkot. We then continue our tour to Bhaktapur, also known as a museum of medieval art and architecture, featuring many statues, wood carvings, and enormous pagoda temples dedicated to various gods and goddesses. Bhaktapur Square is one of the valley’s most enchanting architectural works, as it highlights Nepal’s ancient arts. Golden statues of kings perched atop stone monoliths, guardian deities looking out from their shrines, and the wood carvings everywhere—brackets, lintels, pillars, tympanums, gateways, and windows—seem to form a well-arranged symphony. Pottery and weaving remain the main traditional crafts that are still alive today. After the tour and the free time we will provide, we return to our hotel in Nagarkot. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
Nagarkot - Kathmandu
Before breakfast, we will rejuvenate our energy with yoga and meditation led by our private yoga instructor. We will then visit Patan, one of the oldest settlements in the Kathmandu Valley and known as the “City of Fine Arts.” This historic center, notable for its rich architecture and craftsmanship, features stupa temples believed to have been built by King Ashoka, one of the famous rulers of the era, and located at various corners of the city, reflecting Patan’s religious and cultural significance. In this city, where Hindu and Buddhist architecture can be seen side by side, there will also be an opportunity to find handmade items and souvenirs produced using traditional methods. After our visit, we will head to Boudhanath Temple and visit this sacred structure, which holds great importance for Buddhist monks. With its massive stupa architecture and surrounding monasteries, Boudhanath is regarded as one of the most important centers of Buddhism in Nepal. We then continue to Pashupatinath, one of the world’s most important Hindu temples. Here, we will closely observe the daily worship life of Hindus and have the opportunity to witness the traditional cremation ceremonies carried out on the banks of the Bagmati River. After this visit, which offers especially striking scenes for our guests who enjoy photography, we transfer to our hotel in Kathmandu to rest after the day’s fatigue. Kathmandu
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for our tour of the Monkey Temple (Swayambhunath). Considered one of the oldest and most mysterious sacred sites in the Kathmandu Valley, this structure can be seen from many parts of the valley with its tall white dome and shimmering golden spire. According to historical records on stone inscriptions, the stupa has been an important Buddhist pilgrimage center since the 5th century AD. Swayambhunath Stupa is also known as the “Monkey Temple” due to the hundreds of monkeys living around it, in addition to the pilgrims and monks who visit it. After our tour of this impressive sacred site, where Buddhist and Hindu symbols can be seen together, we return to our hotel. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
Kathmandu
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Chandragiri Hill, which offers a breathtaking view of the entire Kathmandu Valley, covered with lush vegetation and crowned by a striking peak. We will take the cable car up to the hill to enjoy this unique panorama, where we can see the Himalayan range stretching from Annapurna to Everest. Afterwards, we set our route toward the Pharping region, known for its natural beauty, temples, and monastery. We will visit the Asura Cave, an ancient meditation cave where, according to legend, Guru Padmasambhava meditated, and one of the most important Hindu temples dedicated to the goddess Dakshinkali. After touring this temple, which is regarded as one of the country’s centers of spiritual power, we will proceed to Khokana, an old Newar settlement located about 30 km from Kathmandu, distinguished by its typical red-brick houses and tiled roofs. Following our city tour in this town, which is like an open-air museum where we can closely observe Newari culture, traditions, architecture, and handicrafts, we will return to our hotel to rest. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
Katmandu - Istanbul
After having our packed breakfast at our hotel, we leave the hotel to head to Kathmandu Airport. After completing our passport, baggage, and check-in procedures at the airport, we board Turkish Airlines’ scheduled Kathmandu-Istanbul flight for our return journey. Upon our arrival in Istanbul, our tour and services come to an end.
