Upon arrival in Cordoba, we will first be greeted by the Guadalquivir River. We will cross the historic Roman Bridge and enter the city through the Roman Gate. Accompanied by our guide, we will witness the grandeur of this extraordinary masterpiece while receiving fascinating insights. After the tour of the Great Mosque, we will continue on foot, exploring the pristine old streets and admiring the delicate details of Andalusian architecture, including ancient caravanserais and traditional houses of Cordoba. Next, we will pass through the Archive of the Indies, where records of all maritime expeditions to the Americas up to the 19th century are preserved, before reaching the narrow, historic streets of Santa Cruz, known as "Old" Seville. At the end of our walk, we will see the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower), formerly a tobacco factory and now home to the Maritime Museum, which also served as the main campus of the University of Seville.
