After the breakfast served at the hotel, you will have free time. Guests who wish can join the additional organized tour to Eguisheim & Colmar & Riquewihr (100 Euro). Our tour's first stop is Eguisheim, one of Alsace's charming towns. Since 2003, Eguisheim has been a member of the "Most Beautiful Villages of France" club and was voted "French People's Favorite Village" in 2013. After our tour of Eguisheim, we move on to our second stop, Colmar. With its colorful houses, flower-decorated streets, and beauty, Colmar is one of the enchanting cities and serves as the starting point of the Alsace Wine Route, holding great importance. The canals that add beauty to Colmar are tributaries of the Rhine River. The colorful historic buildings lined along the river, dating back to the 1200s, are the most prominent and notable feature of the city. During our tour of Colmar, we stroll through its streets filled with carnival atmosphere, visiting St. Martin's Cathedral with its large stork nests, Rue Marchand (Merchants' Street), and the area known as "Petite Venise," meaning "Little Venice." Our final stop on the tour is Riquewihr, known as Alsace's most famous village... This charming town, home to 1,200 people, features two-story houses made of a mix of wood and concrete that harmonize beautifully with each other, showcasing different colors and house shapes. After breakfast included at the hotel, free time is available. Guests who wish may join an extra tour organized by our guide to Schaffhausen Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne (110 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is the Rhine Falls. After a walk around Europe's largest waterfall, with its 150-meter width and 23-meter height, accompanied by the enchanting sound of water, we head to Zurich, Switzerland's largest city. Located on the shores of Lake Zurich and at the foot of the Alps, Zurich hosts millions of tourists every season due to its rich history and vibrant culture. The city's name dates back to Neolithic and Bronze Age times, originating from "Turus." During the Roman occupation in the 2nd century AD, the city was known as Turicum. When translated into Swiss German, it is pronounced "Zuri." According to recent data, Zurich, recognized as one of the most livable cities in Europe, is also referred to as the cultural capital of Switzerland. Upon arrival, we visit Grossmünster, Fraumünster churches, and St. Peterskirche, home to Europe's largest clock tower, before touring Bahnhofstrasse, the city's main shopping district. After the tour, we proceed to Lucerne. In this enchanting city, we see the Lion Monument, built in memory of 800 Swiss soldiers who died protecting King Louis XVI and his family, Chapel Bridge, and the stunning views of Lake Lucerne.
