Since 2003, Eguisheim has been a member of the "Most Beautiful Villages of France" club and was voted "French People's Favorite Village" in 2013. After the breakfast included at the hotel, free time is available. Guests who wish can join an additional tour organized by our guide to Schaffhausen Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne (110 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is the Rhine Falls. Located on the shores of Lake Zurich and at the foot of the Alps, Zurich welcomes millions of tourists every season with its rich history and vibrant culture. The city's name dates back to Neolithic and Bronze Age times and comes from "Turus." During the Roman occupation in the 2nd century AD, the city was called Turicum. When translated into Swiss German, it is pronounced as "Zuri." According to recent data, Zurich, considered one of the most livable cities in Europe, is also known as the cultural capital of Switzerland.
