PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour start date. The tour, canceled due to insufficient participation, will be communicated to you through your agency.

HEALTH

There is no vaccination requirement for entry into Italy. We do not think there will be any health-threatening issue with meals taken in good restaurants and hotels in the region. Nevertheless, when you are not with the group, we recommend that you be careful about food and drink, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, eat meat and fish products that you are sure are well cooked, and for fruit, eat fruits such as bananas and pineapples that can be peeled.

OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES

Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency from which we receive service, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people, and participation is not mandatory. If sufficient numbers cannot be reached, the excursions may not be carried out, or optional tour/activity prices, content, and the vehicle to be used may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide depending on whether the museums, archaeological sites, or venues in the places to be visited are open/closed and according to weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at a distance greater than the specified km.

3-person rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and the bed offered to the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. 3-person rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or coach beds, participants are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the bed type in reservations for the 3rd person and/or child. 

Child discounts are valid for only one (1) child staying with 2 adults and matching the age group specified in the pricing section. 

Breakfasts taken at the hotel among the services included in the tour program are presented in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country in question and generally with a limited menu called continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group for groups.

CURRENCY

The currency of Italy is Euro (EUR). It is useful to have Euro (EUR) with you.

TIME ZONE

Italy is 3 hours behind Turkey in summer time and 2 hours behind in winter time. For example, when it is 18:30 in Turkey in summer, it is 15:30 in Italy.

CLOTHING AND NECESSARY ITEMS

If you are going in the summer season, we recommend that you bring t-shirts that can be put on and taken off easily, short- and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket and a light sweater for the evenings.  In addition, you may also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera and their chargers and spare memory cards. In the winter period, we recommend clothing that allows you to move comfortably and keep you warm.

FOOD CULTURE

Italian cuisine, which varies by region, is among the richest cuisines in the world with the contributions of Mediterranean influence. From snacks prepared with fresh tomatoes, greens, and country-specific cheeses to delicious pizzas, from pasta made with a variety of sauces to seafood, it offers a wide range of options.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not mean that entry into the country will be granted. Passport police have the authority to deny you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility belongs to the passenger.  

The agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and special flights, or times may change before the current tour and flight. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fee. 

The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of up to 2-3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities and carried out panoramically with guide narration from the vehicle, and do not include museum or archaeological site entrance fees. The agency is not responsible for the failure to carry out the said tours, including other tours specified in the program, if they do not take place on the day and time corresponding to the tour due to reasons such as not being permitted to visit or enter by local authorities, or closed roads due to any event, or when it becomes impossible to carry out the tour due to weather conditions. Some tours may be carried out by public transportation or on foot within possibilities at closed roads or points where vehicle entry is not permitted.

Tour Program
Istanbul - Bologna - Florence
After meeting your guide at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, following your baggage and ticket procedures at the Turkish Airlines counter, you will depart for Bologna on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour of Bologna; sights to be seen include Neptune’s Fountain, Piazza Maggiore (the Grand Square), the Old Stock Exchange Building, Europe’s first university building, Quadrilatero (the old market), and the Garisenda and Asinelli Towers. After the tour, we transfer to Florence. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour of Florence. During our city tour, we will see the Arno River, which divides Florence into two, Ponte Vecchio bridge, famous for its goldsmiths, Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza della Signoria, home to the statues of Hercules and David, masterpieces of the Renaissance, the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, which has the third-highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery, famous for its doors. Overnight at our hotel.
Florence - Pisa - San Gimignano - Siena - Florence
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Pisa. Today, we will have the opportunity to get to know the region through surrounding excursions. We explore the city’s landmarks by seeing the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Baptistery, and the Cathedral in Piazza dei Miracoli, known as the Square of Miracles. After leaving Pisa, we head to San Gimignano, which has preserved the atmosphere of the Middle Ages and is known as the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages.” Here, we discover the city’s surrounding walls, towering towers, and narrow stone streets. We then arrive in Siena, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage list. During our city tour, we see landmarks such as Piazza del Campo, where the Palio races are held, the Duomo Cathedral, San Domenico Church, and the historic Palazzo del Popolo. At the end of the day, transfer to Florence, the heart of the Tuscany region, and check in to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Florence - Cinque Terre - La Spezia - Genoa
After breakfast at our hotel in Sabah, we depart from Florence and head to Genoa. Today, we will take the Cinque Terre – La Spezia excursion along our route. In this tour, we leave our hotel early in the morning and travel by private vehicle to our first stop, La Spezia. From there, we begin our train journey to the enchanting coastal villages of Cinque Terre. We stop in one of the most remarkable of these five UNESCO World Heritage villages, Vernazza or Monterosso. We get to know the village’s history and architecture, and then we have free time. Those who wish can take a walk by the sea, browse souvenir shops, or taste fresh seafood. We then return to La Spezia by train, where we board our private vehicle and continue to Genoa. The tour ends with our arrival at the hotel in the evening. Overnight at our hotel.
Genoa - Santa Margarita - Portofino - Genoa
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we leave the hotel to take a panoramic city tour of Genoa. In Genoa’s historic center, we have the opportunity to see distinctive landmarks of the city, such as the port area of Antica Porta Soprana, which sheds light on Italian maritime history, and San Lorenzo Cathedral. We then depart for the elegant and romantic Santa Margherita & Portofino Tour. Our first stop is Santa Margherita Ligure, which stands out with its elegant atmosphere by the seaside. We take a short walk to explore the palm tree-lined waterfront, the harbor, and the charming surrounding streets. During the short free time given here, guests who wish may enjoy a coffee break by the sea. After Santa Margherita, we continue with a short coastal journey to Portofino, an elegant fishing town on Italy’s Ligurian coast, famous for its colorful houses and small harbor. With its pastel-colored buildings lined along the hillsides, marina filled with luxury yachts, and tranquil atmosphere, Portofino is considered one of the most romantic stops in the Mediterranean. In this small but impressive town, we tour the harbor area and the viewpoints around San Giorgio Church. After the photo break, guests who wish may have lunch at seafood restaurants or spend some free time shopping. After our Portofino tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Cenova - Nice
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Nice. Continuing west along the Mediterranean coast, we cross the French border and arrive in Nice. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic city tour of Nice. On this tour, first we proceed along the Promenade des Anglais, which has become the city’s symbol, and enjoy the unique views of the Mediterranean. Among the places we will see are Massena Square, considered the center and heart of Nice and distinguished by its red-toned buildings and modern art sculptures, the Opera House, built in the 19th century and reflecting the city’s culture with performing arts shows, and the Courthouse. Then we visit the Old Nice (Vieux Nice) district, famous for its colorful markets and narrow streets. We will also see Nice Cathedral, located in Old Nice (Vieux Nice), with its ornate interior decoration and Baroque architecture. At the end of our tour, there will be free time. Afterwards, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Nice - Eze - Monaco - Cannes - Nice
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we will take a tour of Eze, Monaco, and Cannes. Our tour begins with departure towards our first stop, the village of Eze. In this medieval town, built on a high hill, we walk through narrow stone streets and listen to our guide расскаling the history of the village. Afterwards, those who wish may visit the Fragonard Perfume Factory, where famous perfume brands produce boutique items, and join a short introductory tour and do some shopping. We then leave Eze and, after a short drive, arrive in the Principality of Monaco. First, we visit the historic area of Monaco-Ville and see important buildings such as the Prince’s Palace, the Courthouse, and Saint Nicholas Cathedral, and then we stop for photos at Monte Carlo Casino Square, home to one of the world’s most famous casinos. We experience Monaco with a panoramic drive along the roads where the Formula 1 circuit passes. After our visit, we leave Monaco and continue west along the Mediterranean coast to the city of Cannes. There, we learn about La Croisette Boulevard, the Palais des Festivals (Festival Palace), and the seafront, and then we are given some free time. Those who wish may have coffee by the beach or browse the boutiques of luxury brands. At the end of our tour, we transfer to our hotel in Nice. Overnight at our hotel.
Nice - Saint-Tropez - Marseille
After breakfast at our hotel, we leave the hotel and head west, following France’s Mediterranean coast toward Marseille. Our first stop along the way is Saint-Tropez, which has become an icon of the French Riviera. Once a small fishing town, this charming destination gained fame through the attention of artists and the jet set. Here, we take a walk around the harbor area and enjoy a short stroll along the shoreline, surrounded by pastel-colored houses and luxury yachts. Guests who wish may browse boutique shops or spend time in the seaside cafés. After our visit to Saint-Tropez, we board our vehicle again and continue toward the coast of Provence, arriving in Marseille in the afternoon. Upon arrival in the city, we begin our panoramic tour of Marseille. First, we go up to the Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde, located on a hill overlooking the city, where we take in a bird’s-eye view of Marseille’s harbor and the city. Then, on our panoramic bus tour, we see the city’s landmarks from the outside, including the Old Port (Vieux Port), the Pharo Palace, the Cathedral of La Major, and Canebière Boulevard, while learning about Marseille’s historical and cultural character through our guide’s commentary. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Marseille - Aix-en-Provence - Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Aix-en-Provence tour. Following approximately a 40-minute journey, we arrive in Aix-en-Provence, the elegant university city of the Provence region. Upon arrival, we begin exploring the historic center of the city on foot with our guide. First, we walk along Cours Mirabeau, admiring the 17th- and 18th-century mansions, cafés, and fountains lining this graceful boulevard. We then visit important landmarks such as Saint-Sauveur Cathedral, the Town Hall Square (Place de l’Hôtel de Ville), and the colorful market areas, all accompanied by our guide. Aix is also known as the city where the famous painter Paul Cézanne was born and lived. Guests who wish may visit Cézanne’s studio (Atelier Cézanne) or shop at the local market for regional soaps, lavender products, and handicrafts. During the free time provided throughout the tour, you may sample local delicacies and enjoy the Provence atmosphere. In the afternoon, we board our vehicle again and begin our journey to Marseille Airport. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we take a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our tour and services come to an end.
