This tour is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days prior to the start of the tour. Tours cancelled due to insufficient participation will be communicated to you through your agency.

HEALTH

Those taking regular medication are advised to bring more than they need, as not all types of medication may be available in the country. Additionally, if you have serious health issues (heart conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.), it would be beneficial to carry a document signed by your doctor. We also recommend that you do not drink tap water and instead consume only sealed bottled water that you open yourself.

Optional tours and activities are organized by our local partner agency with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people and are not mandatory. If the required number is not met, these tours may not take place, or the prices, content, and vehicles used for optional tours/activities may vary depending on the number of participants. Furthermore, the dates and times of optional tours/activities may be changed by the guide based on whether museums, historical sites, or venues are open/closed and weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located further than the specified kilometers.

Triple rooms are subject to hotel availability. In such rooms, the bed provided for the third person may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed and one extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or convertible (coach beds), participants booking as the third person and/or children are deemed to have accepted potential crowding in the room and the type of bed.

Child discounts apply only to one child per two adults and within the age group specified in the pricing section.

Breakfasts included in the tour program are served according to the local breakfast culture, typically as a limited continental menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall dedicated to the group.

The currency of India is the Indian Rupee (INR).

It is advisable to carry US Dollars (USD) with you.

TIME ZONE

There is a time difference of +2 hours and 30 minutes between India and Turkey. When it is 12:00 in Turkey, it is 14:30 in India.

All mobile phone operators can be used if your phone has international roaming enabled. However, network coverage may be unavailable in some areas of the country.

CLOTHING AND ESSENTIAL ITEMS

We recommend bringing t-shirts that are easy to put on and take off, short-sleeved and long-sleeved shirts, shorts and cotton trousers, comfortable walking shoes, and a light jacket for evenings. Additionally, you may bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs for possible noise, a camera, video camera, and their chargers and spare memory cards.

FOOD CULTURE

Indian cuisine is close to our taste preferences. As we will dine at our hotel and the best restaurants, you will encounter no problems. We will also have access to sealed bottled water everywhere we go. You should never consume food sold openly or water from the tap. The hotels where we stay are top-tier facilities regarding health standards, so these risks are minimal.

ELECTRICITY

The voltage is generally 200-220 V. India uses British-style three-pin sockets. Many socket types accommodate our two-pin plugs. To avoid issues where plugs do not fit, universal plug adapters sold in electronics stores can be purchased.

SHOPPING

One of the most important places for shopping in New Delhi is The Central Cottage Industries Emporium. This chain of stores, with many branches, serves customers at fixed prices. Carvings, copperware, bric-a-brac, fabrics, and even furniture can be purchased at very reasonable prices.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having obtained a visa (for destinations/passports requiring a visa) does not guarantee entry into the country. Border police have the authority to deny entry. The agency is not responsible for this situation; responsibility lies with the traveler. 

The agency acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline and is subject to the Hague Protocol of September 28, 1955. There may be delays in scheduled and special flights, or flight times may change prior to the current tour and flight. The agency is obligated to notify passengers of such changes as soon as possible. Passengers purchase the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport taxes or airport service fees. 

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours, organized for general introduction to cities, conducted from the vehicle with a guide's commentary, and do not include entrance fees to museums or historical sites. If panoramic tours cannot be carried out because local authorities do not permit visits or entry on the scheduled day and time (including other tours listed in the program), due to closed roads caused by any event, or if weather conditions make it impossible to conduct the tour, the agency is not responsible for the inability to perform said tours. Some tours may be conducted via public transport or on foot, depending on available options, at points where road closures prevent vehicle access.

Istanbul - Delhi
We meet at the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. We depart for Delhi on a Turkish Airlines flight and will spend the night on board.
Delhi - Agra
Na aankomst in Delhi om 05:15 uur worden we op de luchthaven ontvangen en reizen we naar ons hotel in het Aerocity-gebied voor het ontbijt. Na het ontbijt vertrekken we richting Agra; tijdens onze ongeveer vijf uur durende reis genieten we van het platteland van Noord-India en reizen we door naar de regio Rajasthan. Bij aankomst in Agra bezoeken we het Agra Fort, een UNESCO-werelderfgoedmonument. Dit enorme complex, dat ooit als bestuurlijk centrum van het Mogolrijk diende, verkennen wij met onze gids langs de binnenplaatsen, paleisgedeeltes, militaire zones en muren. We leren hoe Agra gedurende de geschiedenis als tweede hoofdstad aan belang won, welke fasen het fort sinds de 11e eeuw heeft doorgemaakt en hoe de Mogolheersers hier leefden. Na het bezoek keren we terug naar ons hotel, voltooien we het incheckproces en rusten we uit na het avondeten. Overnachting in Agra.
Agra - Jaipur
Na het ontbijt in ons hotel bezoeken we de Taj Mahal, het meest indrukwekkende werk van de eeuwige liefde en de Mughal-architectuur. We verkennen dit monument, volledig opgetrokken uit wit marmer door Shah Jahan voor zijn echtgenote Mumtaz Mahal, waarbij onze gids ons vertelt over de bouwgeschiedenis, de steenbewerking, de gebruikte edelstenen en de architectonische symmetrie. Na een dag vol ontdekkingen reizen we naar Jaipur; tijdens onze vier uur durende reis door Rajasthan observeren we het lokale leven en de woestijnkarakteristieken. Bij aankomst in Jaipur checken we in bij ons hotel, nemen we het avondeten in het hotel en rusten we uit. De overnachting is in Jaipur.
Jaipur
Na het ontbijt in ons hotel vertrekken we naar Amber Fort, een van de beroemdste bouwwerken van Jaipur. Met jeeps rijden we naar de ingang van het fort en bezoeken we dit indrukwekkende kasteel dat boven het Maota-meer is gebouwd. Onder begeleiding van onze gids verkennen we gedetailleerd de binnenplaatsen, zuilengalerijen en de beroemde Spiegelzaal (Sheesh Mahal), die tot de mooiste voorbeelden van Rajput-architectuur behoren. Na kennis te hebben gemaakt met het koninklijke leven, de verdedigingssystemen en de architectonische kunst van Amber Fort, dalen we af naar het stadscentrum en beginnen we aan onze stadstour door Jaipur. Tijdens deze tour bezoeken we eerst het City Palace Museum, waar we een collectie kledingstukken, miniaturen, tapijten en wapens kunnen bewonderen die toebehoorden aan de koninklijke familie. Vervolgens bezoeken we Jantar Mantar, een sterrenwacht uit de 18e eeuw, waar onze gids ons uitlegt hoe de astronomische meetinstrumenten werden gebruikt. Tot slot fotograferen we Hawa Mahal (het Windpaleis) van buitenaf, een van de meest iconische bouwwerken van Jaipur. Aan het einde van de dag keren we terug naar het hotel, nemen we het avondeten en rusten we uit. De overnachting vindt plaats in Jaipur.
Jaipur - Pushkar - Jodhpur
Na het ontbijt in ons hotel vertrekken we richting Jodhpur en maken we een tussenstop in Pushkar, een van de heilige steden voor hindoes. Hier bezoeken we een van de weinige Brahma-tempels ter wereld; met de uitleg van onze gids verkennen we de architectuur van deze bijna 700 jaar oude tempel en zijn betekenis binnen het hindoeïsme. Vervolgens zien we het Pushkar-meer, in de hindoeïstische mythologie bekend als "Tirtha-Guru", en leren we meer over de geschiedenis van dit heilige meer dat omringd is door tempels. Na ons bezoek aan Pushkar gaan we verder naar Jodhpur, waar we aankomen in de blauwe stad van Rajasthan en inchecken in ons hotel. Het avondeten nemen we in het hotel. De overnachting is in Jodhpur.
Jodhpur
Na het ontbijt in ons hotel bezoeken we het Mehrangarh-fort, dat op 122 meter hoogte boven de stad is gebouwd en een van de meest indrukwekkende bouwwerken van India is. We verkennen met onze gids de muren, oorlogspoorten, koninklijke paleiskamers en historische galeries van dit enorme complex dat zich uitstrekt over 480 hectare, en volgen zo de sporen van het Rajput-koninkrijk. Vervolgens bezoeken we Jaswant Thada, een monument dat behoort tot de mooiste voorbeelden van marmerbewerking, en ontdekken we deze cenotaaf die aan het Marwar-dynastie herinnert. 's Middags nemen we deel aan een jeep-safari door de woestijn naar de Bishnoi-dorpen, waar we de levenswijze en tradities van de Bishnoi-gemeenschap leren kennen, die zowel de natuur als alle levende wezens heilig achten. We zien de kenmerkende keukendoornbomen en lokale diersoorten zoals blackbuck en chinkara in hun natuurlijke omgeving. Na de safari keren we terug naar het hotel voor het avondeten. De overnachting vindt plaats in Jodhpur.
Jodhpur - Delhi - Stadstour door Delhi
In de vroege ochenduren halen we onze ontbijtpakketten in het hotel en reizen we naar de luchthaven van Jodhpur, waar we onze vlucht naar Delhi nemen. Na aankomst in Delhi beginnen we aan onze stadstour: eerst bezoeken we de India Gate, een van de belangrijkste monumenten van de stad. Hier horen we van onze gids het verhaal achter dit indrukwekkende gedenkteken, dat is opgericht ter nagedachtenis aan 82.000 soldaten die hun leven verloren tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Vervolgens bekijken we vanuit de auto het Presidentiële Paleis en het Parlementsgebouw en maken we een korte panoramische rit langs de Rajpath. Daarna gaan we naar de Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, een van de belangrijkste gebedsplaatsen van Delhi; hier krijgen we informatie over de sikh-cultuur, de indeling van de tempel en het heilige meer, de Sarovar. Vervolgens bezoeken we het Qutub Minar-complex, een UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie. Samen met onze gids bestuderen we de architectonische details, de imposante stenen beeldhouwwerken en de geschiedenis van dit complex, gebouwd in de 12e eeuw en een van de meest indrukwekkende minaretten van India. Na afloop van de tour checken we in bij ons hotel, nemen we ons avondeten in het hotel en rusten we uit. De overnachting is in Delhi.
Delhi - Istanbul
In de vroege ochtend worden we getransfereerd naar de luchthaven. Na het inchecken en het afhandelen van de paspoortcontroles vertrekken wij om 06:55 uur met een Turkish Airlines-vlucht naar Istanbul. Rond het middaguur, bij onze aankomst in Istanbul om 11:30 uur, eindigt onze rondreis.
