Barcelona
After breakfast at the hotel, the rest of the day is free. Guests who wish may join the Girona & Figueres Tour (70 Euro), which will be organized as an optional extra by our guide. We begin our tour with Girona, the wealthiest city in the region, located on the banks of the Onyar River and immediately reminiscent of Florence. This charming medieval city, with its narrow streets and cathedral, is also worth seeing. It is also the city where the film scenes of Perfume were shot. During our panoramic tour, we will see the Lion statue, Cathedral Square, the houses with mezuzahs, the Jewish Quarter, La Rambla, and its famous shops. After some free time, we continue toward Figueres with views of the Pyrenees Mountains. The town has such an impressive atmosphere that it was a source of inspiration throughout the life of the boundary-breaking painter Salvador Dalí, whom the whole world admires. Here we will visit the museum-house that the famous surrealist painter Salvador Dalí decorated with his own hands. In this museum, where each of his works is worth millions of dollars, we will visit the museum featuring his mind-bending works, including those depicting his immortal love Gala, and then transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Madrid
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we begin our Madrid city tour. We start with the large square called Plaza Mayor. There are 136 buildings and 437 balconies opening onto the courtyard in this square. In the past, bullfights and people burned by the Inquisition were watched from these balconies. The heart of the city, Puerta del Sol, the large square called Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Oriente, where the Royal Palace addresses the public, the Alcalá Gate built as an entrance gate to show how wealthy the city is, Gran Via with its gallery-style roofs, Plaza Colón, Cibeles Square and Fountain, and the Cervantes Monument are among the places to be seen. Then there will be free time. Those who wish may join our Toledo Tour, which our guide will organize as an extra (65 EUR). Toledo is a true open-air museum and the former capital of Spain, one of the most important cities on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Its magnificent cathedral rivals the world’s most famous museums by hosting works of globally renowned painters. Known as the city of El Greco, Toledo has managed to remain unchanged since the 16th century. Buildings bearing traces of Roman, Visigothic, Arab, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, narrow streets, El Greco’s paintings, typical pastry shops, Damascene stores, and of course its famous cathedral make it a tourist hotspot. Another tradition in Toledo is the production of almond paste, dating back to the time when the Arabs conquered the city. You cannot consider your visit to Toledo complete without tasting this mouthwatering sweet. After our walk in the Jewish Quarter, we head to our hotel in Madrid. Overnight at our hotel.
