Personal Data Protection Information Notice

Turilla Travel Tourism and Trade Limited Company (“Turilla Travel”, the “Company” or the “Data Controller”), we attach importance to protecting the personal data of our customers, visitors and individuals who benefit from our services.

This Information Notice has been prepared to inform you, within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), about the purposes for which your personal data are processed, to whom they may be transferred, the legal grounds on which they are based and your rights.

Methods of Obtaining Your Personal Data

Your personal data may be obtained through verbal, written or electronic methods via;

• the www.turillatravel.com website,
• reservation and request forms,
• communication channels such as telephone, e-mail and WhatsApp,
• our social media accounts,
• our offices and face-to-face communication,
• transactions relating to tours, accommodation, transportation and other travel services,
• business partners, suppliers and agencies from which we receive services

Processed Personal Data

Depending on the nature of the service and the type of transaction, the following personal data may be processed:

• Identity information: First name, surname, Turkish ID number, passport information and other necessary identity information,
• Contact information: Telephone, e-mail, address and communication records,
• Reservation and travel information: Tour, hotel, transportation, ticket, accommodation and travel preferences,
• Financial information: Payment, collection, invoice and transaction information,
• Request and complaint information: Requests, suggestions, complaints and special requests submitted to us,
• Visual and audio records: Photographs and call records depending on the nature of the service,
• Insurance information: Travel insurance and related policy information,
• Special categories of personal data: Special categories of personal data such as health information, where required by the service and in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the KVKK.

Our Company does not unnecessarily request personal data that is not essential for the provision of the service.

Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing Your Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed for the purposes of;

• providing reservation, ticketing, accommodation, transportation, transfer, tour and other travel services,
• concluding and performing contracts,
• carrying out payment, collection and invoicing transactions,
• conducting customer services and finalizing your requests,
• planning and carrying out tour and travel organizations,
• providing travel insurance and similar services,
• fulfilling legal and administrative obligations,
• conducting accounting, finance, audit and internal company operations,
• ensuring information security and operating systems,
• improving service quality and customer satisfaction,
• conducting legal processes and protecting our Company's rights,
• responding to requests from authorized public institutions and organizations

These processes may be carried out based on the legal grounds regulated under Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, namely being expressly stipulated in laws, being necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract, fulfillment of a legal obligation, establishment, exercise or protection of a right, legitimate interest of the data controller and explicit consent where necessary.

Your special categories of personal data are processed based on the appropriate legal ground among the conditions stipulated in Article 6 of the KVKK.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred, to the extent necessary for achieving the purposes specified above and providing the services, to;

• hotels and accommodation facilities,
• airline, road and other transportation service providers,
• transfer, guiding and organization service providers,
• travel insurance companies,
• payment institutions and banks,
• accounting and financial service providers,
• information technology and software service providers,
• legal and professional advisors,
• business partners and suppliers,
• authorized public institutions and organizations,
• legally authorized natural or legal persons

limited to the conditions and purposes stipulated in the KVKK.

For the provision of services within the scope of international travel, it may be necessary to transfer your personal data to hotels, transportation companies, tour operators, insurance companies or other service providers located abroad. Such transfers are carried out in accordance with the conditions for transferring data abroad regulated under Article 9 of the KVKK.

Storage and Security of Your Personal Data

Your personal data are retained for the period required by the purposes of processing and for the retention periods stipulated in the applicable legislation. When the retention period expires or the reasons requiring the processing of personal data cease to exist, the data are deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with the legislation.

Turilla Travel takes the necessary technical and administrative measures to prevent the unlawful processing of and access to personal data and to ensure data security.

Rights of the Personal Data Subject

As a personal data subject under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to;

• learn whether your personal data are processed,
• request information about this if they have been processed,
• learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
• know the third parties to whom they are transferred domestically or abroad,
• request the correction of incomplete or incorrectly processed data,
• request the deletion or destruction of data within the scope of the conditions stipulated in the KVKK,
• request that the correction, deletion or destruction operations carried out be notified to the third parties to whom the data were transferred,
• object to the emergence of a result against you as a result of analysis exclusively through automated systems,
• request compensation for damages if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of data

Application Method

You may submit your requests within the scope of the KVKK, together with information suitable for verifying your identity, in writing to Turilla Travel Tourism and Trade Limited Company or through other methods determined by the Board.

Your applications are concluded as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, depending on their nature. If processing the application requires an additional cost, the fee determined within the scope of the KVKK may be applied.
