ANKARA (ESB)-STUTTGART-ALSACE
Meeting with our valued guests at least 3 hours before departure at the International Departures Terminal of Ankara Esenboğa Airport. After completing ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Stuttgart on Ajet Airlines' scheduled flight VF533 at 13:45. Arrival in Stuttgart is at 15:20 local time. Following passport and ticket formalities, we will leave the airport to begin our city tour and proceed towards Strasbourg. Upon arrival, our panoramic city tour commences. Strasbourg, historically significant as the place where the French national anthem "La Marseillaise" was written, presents itself as a city blending Alsatian culture with French architecture. We visit the Strasbourg Cathedral (Notre-Dame), which held the title of the world's tallest structure until 1874, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France district adorned with traditional Alsatian houses. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel for overnight accommodation. (Depending on regional congestion, accommodation may be arranged in nearby cities such as Mulhouse, Colmar, Strasbourg, Basel, Belfort, or Karlsruhe.)
ALSACE – EGUISHEIM – COLMAR – RIQUEWIHR – ALSACE
After breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a tour of Eguisheim, Colmar, and Riquewihr. Our first stop is Eguisheim, one of Alsace's charming towns. As you wander through its narrow, picturesque streets, surrounded by houses adorned with colorful geraniums hanging from wooden windows and balconies, you'll feel as though you're losing yourself in stories from the past. A member of the "Most Beautiful Villages of France" association since 2003, Eguisheim was voted "France's Favorite Village" in 2013. Following our visit to Eguisheim, we proceed to our second destination: Colmar. Known for its colorful houses, flower-lined streets, and overall beauty, Colmar is one of the most enchanting cities and serves as the starting point of the Alsace Wine Route. The canals that enhance Colmar's charm are tributaries of the Rhine River. Lining the riverbanks, the vibrant historic buildings date back to the 12th century and represent the city's most distinctive and remarkable feature. During our tour of Colmar, we will explore its carnival-like streets, visit St. Martin's Cathedral with its large stork nests, stroll along Rue Marchande (Merchants' Street), and discover the area known as "Petite Venise," meaning "Little Venice." Our final stop is Riquewihr, Alsace's most famous village. This quaint town, home to around 1,200 residents, features harmonious two-story houses built with a mix of wood and concrete, each uniquely colored and shaped. It attracts approximately 2 million visitors annually. In this wonderful city where history, culture, and nature blend seamlessly, you won't be able to take enough photos. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel for an overnight stay. Depending on regional availability, accommodation may be arranged in nearby cities such as Mulhouse, Colmar, Strasbourg, Basel, Belfort, or Karlsruhe.
ALSACE– HEIDELBERG – BADEN BADEN – ALSACE
After breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a tour of Heidelberg and Baden-Baden. No, not all German cities are alike. If you wish to experience an authentic German city, Heidelberg awaits you with its harmonious blend of architecture and nature—a tranquil, elegant, refined, and profound city where Hegel pondered his thoughts while walking the streets and which Goethe called his ideal city. Upon arrival, our guided tour will include Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle (exterior view). Following this tour, we proceed to our second stop, Baden-Baden. Located near the Germany-France border, Baden-Baden is a stylish, aesthetically pleasing, and serene German city nestled in nature. It offers countless attractions, from thermal baths to culture and art museums, opera houses and theaters, and even Europe's most famous casino. The renowned Russian author Dostoevsky set his novel "The Gambler," which draws from episodes of his own life, in this very city; thus, it may also appeal to literature enthusiasts. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel for overnight accommodation. Please note that depending on regional occupancy, lodging may be arranged in nearby towns such as Mulhouse, Colmar, Strasbourg, Basel, Belfort, or Karlsruhe.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a tour of Schaffhausen Rhine Falls, Zurich, and Lucerne. Our first stop is the Rhine Falls. With a width of 150 meters and a height of 23 meters, Europe's largest waterfall offers a breathtaking experience; after a scenic walk accompanied by the enchanting sound of rushing water, we proceed to Zurich, Switzerland's largest city. Located on the shores of Lake Zurich and at the foot of the Alps, Zurich welcomes millions of tourists year-round with its rich history and vibrant culture. The city's origins date back to the Neolithic and Bronze Ages, and its name derives from "Turus." During the Roman occupation in the 2nd century AD, it was known as Turicum, which evolved into "Zuri" in Swiss German. According to recent data, Zurich is considered the most livable city in Europe and is also recognized as the cultural capital of Switzerland. Upon arrival, we visit the Grossmünster and Fraumünster churches, as well as St. Peter's Church, home to the largest clock tower in Europe. We then stroll along Bahnhofstrasse, the city's premier shopping district. Afterward, we head to Lucerne. In this enchanting city, we admire the Lion Monument, erected in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who died protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and the stunning views of Lake Lucerne. Following our tour, we transfer back to our hotel for an overnight stay. (Depending on regional availability, accommodation may be arranged in nearby towns such as Mulhouse, Colmar, Strasbourg, Basel, Belfort, or Karlsruhe.)
