Cukurova-Madrid
Meeting with our valued guests at the Çukurova Airport International Departures Terminal at least three hours prior to departure. After completing ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Madrid. Upon arrival in Madrid, we will leave the airport and begin our city tour starting at Plaza Mayor, a grand square featuring 136 buildings with 437 balconies opening onto it. In times past, bullfights and the burning of individuals by the Inquisition were observed from these balconies. Highlights of the tour include Puerta del Sol, the heart of the city; Plaza Mayor; Plaza de Oriente, where the Royal Palace addresses the public; the Puerta de Alcalá, built as an entrance gate to showcase the city's wealth; Gran Via, renowned for its gallery-topped roofs; Plaza Colón; Cibeles Square and its fountain; and the Cervantes Monument. Following the tour, we will transfer to our hotel for overnight accommodation.
MADRID
After breakfast at our hotel, we will embark on a tour of Toledo and its Cathedral. Toledo, the capital of the Castilla-La Mancha region located 70 km southwest of Madrid, is undoubtedly one of the most significant cities in Spanish history. With its landscape bearing traces of all civilizations that have ever come to Spain, it offers visitors unforgettable memories. Built on protected, steep cliffs surrounded by high walls and encircled by the Tagus River, Toledo has always been a city of great importance throughout history—from the Romans to the Visigoths, from Al-Andalus to the Kingdom of Spain. Moreover, until the late 15th century, Toledo served as the center of Judaism on the Iberian Peninsula. It houses numerous important structures, including Europe's oldest surviving synagogue, dozens of churches converted from mosques, and the magnificent cathedral where Spain was once religiously governed. In essence, it is a mosaic where three Abrahamic faiths and their peoples have interwoven for centuries. Until the Imperial Court moved its capital to Madrid in 1561, Toledo remained a political, cultural, commercial, and military hub. The city also inspired Cervantes' immortal work, Don Quixote, with much of the story taking place within its bounds and surrounding areas. For all these reasons, Toledo has earned its place on UNESCO's World Heritage List. During our visit, we will see several notable sites: the famous viewpoint offering a breathtaking view of the city as if captured in a painting from the 16th century, San Martín Bridge, San Juan Monastery, the Jewish Quarter, Santo Tome Church, Santa Maria Cathedral Square, a shopping street featuring everything unique to the city, and Zocodover Square, the heart of Toledo. In the free time following the tour, you can taste Mazapan, a traditional almond paste specialty of Toledo, and try Manchego, Spain's world-renowned aged sheep cheese named after this region. As souvenirs, you may explore traditionally crafted swords, knives, or accessories made using medieval techniques—Toledo being the historic home of the world-famous Toledo steel, even featured in Hollywood films. Additionally, you can purchase intricate wirework items known as Damascening (Damasquinado), a craft inherited from the Andalusian period, adorned with beautiful motifs created from gold wires of varying thicknesses. After the tour, we will proceed to our Segovia & Outlet Tour. On this excursion, we will visit Segovia and Ávila, both designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Upon crossing the 11th-century walls, we will explore Old Ávila, visiting the exterior of its cathedral, the Basilica of San Vicente, Plaza Mayor, and the interior of Santa Teresa de Jesús' Birthplace. Following this, we will head to Segovia. There, we will admire the massive Roman aqueduct, the façade of Segovia Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, and the magnificent Alcázar of Segovia—a castle reminiscent of the fairy tale "Snow White." Afterward, we will visit Las Rozas Village, known as the largest outlet in the region. After enjoying some free time for shopping, we will return to our hotel in Madrid. Overnight stay at our hotel.
MADRID-GRANADA
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Granada. Upon arrival, our panoramic city tour includes visits to Bib Lambra Square, the Christopher Columbus Monument, the City Hall, and the Cathedral (exterior view). Following the tour, we transfer back to the hotel, leaving guests with free time. Those wishing to enjoy an entertaining evening can join the optional Sacramonte Night Tour (€60), where you will experience the unique Flamenco interpretations of the Roma community in their traditional stone houses. Overnight stay at our hotel.
GRANADA
After breakfast at the hotel, our tour will continue to Cordoba (mosque entrance included) and Seville. In Cordoba, we will first be greeted by the Guadalquivir River. We will cross the historic Roman bridge, pass through the Roman Gate, and enter the city. The most magnificent structure of this 2,000-year-old city is the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of the largest mosques in the world, rising on 850 columns. Guided by our guide, we will enter this magnificent monument, witness its grandeur, and gain insightful information. After the tour inside the Cordoba Mosque, we will continue on foot, exploring the pristine old streets and admiring the delicate details of Andalusian architecture reflected in the ancient caravanserais and traditional houses of Cordoba. Following our visit to Cordoba, we will proceed towards Seville. Among the sights to see are Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, which include the Plaza de Espana; Seville Cathedral (exterior view), the third-largest cathedral in the world and home to Christopher Columbus's tomb; the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque built upon which the cathedral stands, symbolizing the legacy of the Andalusian Umayyad Caliphate; and the Alcazar Palace (exterior view), the former residence of the Castilian kings. Next, passing through the Archive of the Indies, where records of all sea voyages to the Americas up to the 19th century are kept, we will reach the narrow, historic streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, known as "Old" Seville. At the end of our walk, we will see the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower), formerly a tobacco factory and now serving as the main campus of the University of Seville and housing a maritime museum. Guests who wish may optionally join the Flamenco Night Tour (€60 per person, excluding meals but including one drink). After the tour, we will return to Granada and spend the night at the hotel.
Granada-Valencia
After breakfast at the hotel, we will join our tour of the Alhambra Palace (subject to availability; note that the tour excludes the harem). The Alhambra, which accepts a limited number of visitors daily, is named "Alhambra," meaning "Red," due to the red bricks used in its walls and the red tiles on its roof. We will then travel to Valencia, the pinnacle of Islamic architecture, and spend the night at our hotel in Valencia.
VALENCIA-BARCELONA
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Barcelona. As the capital of Catalonia and Spain's second-largest city, Barcelona is renowned for its magnificent works by the famous architect Antoni Gaudí, attracting a number of tourists four times its population. During our panoramic city tour, we will visit La Sagrada Familia, also known as "The Unfinished Church," Plaça de Catalunya, Gaudí's Houses (Casa Batlló and Casa Milà), La Rambla Avenue, and Port Olímpic. After the city tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may join an optional guided tour: Barcelona Night & Gothic Quarter Tour (€35). This tour offers a chance to see Barcelona illuminated at night, often called "the city that never sleeps." We will then proceed to the Gothic Quarter, which we have not yet visited, exploring landmarks such as the Barcelona Cathedral, the Temple of Augustus, and Carrer del Bisbe, one of the area's most famous streets. Following this, you will have free time on La Rambla for dinner. Overnight stay at your hotel.
Barcelona
After breakfast, our Girona & Figueres tour will commence. We begin in Girona, the region's wealthiest city, perched along the Onyar River and reminiscent of Florence at first glance. This charming medieval town, with its narrow streets and cathedral, is also famous as the filming location for the movie Perfume. Our panoramic tour will include the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, houses with mezuzahs, the Jewish Quarter, La Rambla, and renowned shops. After some free time, we set off towards Figueres, accompanied by views of the Pyrenees. The town possesses such an inspiring atmosphere that it has served as a lifelong source of inspiration for the boundary-defying artist Salvador Dalí, admired worldwide. Here, we will visit the museum house personally decorated by the renowned surrealist painter Salvador Dalí himself. In this museum, where each artwork is valued at millions of dollars, we will see his immortal love Gala depicted alongside his mind-bending masterpieces. Following our visit, we will transfer to our hotel for overnight accommodation.
