On the first day of our tour, we depart from Istanbul Airport with Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight at 07:55. After approximately a four-hour journey, we land at London Gatwick Airport at 09:55 local time. Following passport and baggage procedures, we begin exploring London directly.
During our panoramic city tour, we view many important landmarks from outside, including Buckingham Palace, one of England's most iconic structures; Hyde Park, famous for its lush greenery; and Big Ben, another symbol of the country. Alongside our guide's commentary, we form our first impressions of the city. We take a short break at Trafalgar Square to rest and have a meal. After the city tour, we transfer to our hotel and enjoy free time.
In the evening, an optional Soho & Chinatown Evening Tour (45£) will be organized for interested guests.
On this tour, you will experience London's liveliest, most colorful, and most delicious evening atmosphere. Departing from our hotel in the late afternoon, we head toward Soho & Chinatown, the heart of London's nightlife. After a short and comfortable journey by public transport, we begin exploring this special area, which takes on a completely different vibe compared to daytime.
Soho, one of London's most energetic spots, comes alive in the evenings. Lights, crowds, music, and movement… As soon as you arrive here, you feel much more clearly why London is one of the world's most important cities.
Our walk begins through Soho's characteristic streets. In this area filled with small theaters, live music venues, boutique bars, and restaurants, you encounter a different atmosphere at every step. While listening to our guide share the story of the neighborhood, we also witness the authentic life beyond London's classic tourist facade. Continuing our walk, we move to Chinatown, one of London's most striking districts. Streets decorated with red lanterns, restaurants serving some of the finest examples of Asian cuisine, and a completely different cultural atmosphere… Upon stepping into this area, you may feel as though you've left London entirely. At the end of the tour, we transfer back to our hotel for overnight stay.
London (Big London City Tour)
After breakfast, for those guests who wish, we begin our full-day optional Grand London Tour. (£140) We set off on a packed tour to discover both the historic and modern sides of London. Our first stop is the City of London, known as the financial center of the city. With its deep-rooted history dating back to Roman times, this area has preserved its historic character despite being surrounded today by skyscrapers. We begin our walking tour with St. Paul’s Cathedral, one of the oldest and most important religious buildings in the city. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, this impressive cathedral is one of the most iconic landmarks on the London skyline, especially with its massive dome. As the tour continues, we view one of London’s symbols, the Tower of London, from the outside. Built in the 11th century, this structure has been used throughout history as a palace, prison, and treasury. Right next to it, we stop for a photo at Tower Bridge, which has become one of the symbols of modern London. We complete the first half of the day with a lunch break at Borough Market, one of the most popular street food stops in London. After completing our City of London tour, we move on to the City of Westminster, London’s political and royal center. Our first stop here is Buckingham Palace, one of the most important symbols of the British monarchy. The tour continues with the Houses of Parliament (Palace of Westminster), considered the political heart of England, and the nearby Big Ben. During our walking tour, we also view Westminster Abbey from the outside. This historic building, where royal coronation ceremonies are held, is one of the most important places in English history. In the final part of our tour, we enjoy free time in Covent Garden, one of London’s liveliest squares. Guests may shop in the surrounding stores, spend time in cafés, or simply enjoy the city atmosphere. After meeting at the designated time, we return to our hotel and the tour comes to an end.
Oxford & Bicester Village Outlet Tour
After breakfast, we depart from the hotel with guests who wish to join the full-day optional Oxford & Bicester Village tour (£140). Our first stop is Oxford, one of England’s most historic academic cities. During the walking tour with our guide, we will see the city’s iconic landmarks from the outside, including the Radcliffe Camera, the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in the world, St Mary the Virgin Church with its elegant architecture, and Christ Church College, which has also served as a filming location for the Harry Potter movies. In this historic atmosphere, we will enjoy pleasant walks and soak in Oxford’s enchanting ambiance. After the guided commentary, there will be a short period of free time, during which guests may also explore the city independently if they wish.
Following our visit to Oxford, we travel approximately 30 minutes to Bicester Village Outlet, one of England’s most popular shopping destinations. Here, guests will have the opportunity to shop and spend time in boutiques offering products from world-famous luxury brands at outlet prices. The spacious open-air shopping area offers a very pleasant environment for both shopping and relaxation. At the end of the day, we return to London with shopping bags and wonderful memories. Accommodation is at our hotel.
LONDON (WINDSOR TOUR) - ISTANBUL
