London (Big London City Tour)
After breakfast, we embark on a full-day extra Grand London Tour for guests who wish to join. (£140)
We begin our enriching tour, exploring both the historic and modern faces of London. Our first stop is the City of London, known as the city's financial district. With roots dating back to Roman times, this area has managed to preserve its historic character despite being surrounded by skyscrapers today. Our walking tour starts at St. Paul’s Cathedral, one of the oldest and most important religious buildings in the city. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, this impressive cathedral is one of London’s most iconic structures, especially due to its massive dome. Continuing our tour, we view the Tower of London, one of London’s symbols, from a panoramic perspective. Built in the 11th century, this structure has served throughout history as a palace, prison, and treasury. Right next to it, we take a photo break at Tower Bridge, which has become one of the symbols of modern London. As part of our City tour, we stop at Borough Market, one of London’s most popular street food destinations, for lunch, completing the first half of the day. After finishing our City of London tour, we move on to the City of Westminster, London’s political and royal center. Our first stop here is Buckingham Palace, one of the most important symbols of the British monarchy. Continuing our tour, we will see the Palace of Westminster, considered the political heart of England, and nearby Big Ben. During our walking tour, we also view Westminster Abbey panoramically. This historic building, where royal coronations have taken place, is one of the most significant sites in English history. In the final section of our tour, we allow free time at Covent Garden, one of London’s liveliest squares. Guests who wish may explore the surrounding shops, spend time in cafes, or simply enjoy the city atmosphere. After meeting at the designated time, we return to our hotel, concluding our tour.
