Porto-Lisbon Tour 4 Nights 5 Days with THY OPO-LIS
NOTES
***Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 40 people. If sufficient participation cannot be achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notification date is 21 days before the tour departure. Tours canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified by PCSTUR.
***When only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying names and/or when there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by PCSTUR 48 hours before the trip departure.
***During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified kilometers. In such cases, PCSTUR will provide information 15 days before the tour departure date.
***Triple rooms may be provided depending on hotel availability, and in these rooms, the bed allocated to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds consist of beds known as folding beds and coach beds, tour participants and/or those making reservations for children are deemed to have declared that they accept the possible lack of space in the rooms and the bed type for the third person. Child discounts are valid for one child who stays with 2 adults and falls within the applicable age group.
***Among the services included in the tour program, breakfasts served at the hotel are provided in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited and generally consist of a limited menu known as a continental breakfast, including butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee; for groups, they may be served in a separate room allocated to the group.
***The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting no more than 2–3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities and conducted panoramically with the guide's narration from inside the vehicle, without including museum or archaeological site entrances. PCSTUR is not responsible if panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, cannot take place because local authorities do not permit visiting or entering the relevant places on the day and at the time of the tour, roads are closed due to an event, or weather conditions make it impossible to conduct the tour. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot, where possible, at locations with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
***Extra tours are organized by the local PCSTUR provider we work with, with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the excursions cannot take place, or the prices, content, and vehicles used for extra excursions may vary according to the number of participants. In addition, the days and times of the tours may be changed by the guide according to whether museums and archaeological sites at the destinations are open or closed and according to weather conditions.
***Extra tours are optional for participants and are not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have accepted waiting at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers will be left at a roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and will be picked up from the point where they were left after the tour is completed.
*** PCSTUR acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delays on scheduled and charter flights, or the times may change before the current trip and flight. PCSTUR is obliged to notify passengers of these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip accepting the risk of changes to the flight times.

Istanbul (IST) - Porto
Meeting our valued guests at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport at least 3 hours before the flight. Following the ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Porto on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival in Porto at local time, we leave the airport and begin our city tour of Porto. Our sightseeing tour includes the historic buildings of the Ribeira district overlooking the Douro River, the Bolsa Palace, Porto Cathedral, the House of the Prince, São Francisco Church, São Bento Railway Station, the Dom Luís I Bridge, and panoramic views of the city and the Douro River. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Guests who wish may join the Porto Boat Tour, which will be organized as an optional extra by our guide (€50). We will have the opportunity to see this magnificent city from the river and continue as far as the Atlantic Ocean before concluding the tour. Afterward, we transfer to our hotel and spend the night there.
Porto
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy some free time. Guests wishing to do so may join our optional tour of the Portuguese Masterpieces, Braga & Guimarães (€70). Our first stop is Braga, one of Portugal’s important cities. In Braga, we will visit one of its significant religious sites, the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte (Church of the Good Jesus of the Mount). This magnificent structure, reached by climbing 650 steps, is one of the finest examples of Northern Portugal’s granite architecture. On holy days, devout people climb these steps on their knees to reach the sacred site. After Braga, we will depart for Guimarães, the former capital of Portugal. Protected by UNESCO, Guimarães is a charming city with its typical houses and squares. After visiting Guimarães, we will travel to Porto along the scenic road overlooking the Atlantic coast. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.
PORTO-LISBON
After breakfast, we depart for Lisbon. Along the way, we will visit Fátima, Nazaré, and Óbidos. We set off toward Fátima, our first stop. This place, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three young shepherds in 1917 and revealed three secrets to them, is considered one of the largest pilgrimage and worship centers in Christianity. After Fátima, we head toward the Atlantic coast and the fishing town of Nazaré, famous for its beach. It is impossible not to be impressed by the cliffs of Nazaré, where the famous explorer Vasco da Gama came to pray before embarking on his long sea voyages. We then visit the medieval town of Óbidos, a heritage site that has managed to preserve its historic character, with its 12th-century walls still standing, before continuing to Lisbon. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Lisbon. The tour includes Eduardo VII Park, Rossio Square, considered the heart of the city, the famous Liberdade Avenue, the Tagus River, São Jorge Castle, the Alfama district, the Alcântara district, Belém Tower, from where explorers were bid farewell before their voyages, the Monument to the Discoveries in Belém, and the Jerónimos Monastery. We then transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Lisbon
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Sintra & Cascais & Estoril & Cabo de Roca Tour (100 euros). On this tour, after an approximately 40-minute journey to Sintra, we will visit the “Palacio de Vila” (City Palace), famous for its kitchen chimneys and tiles and representing a synthesis of various architectural styles. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore the narrow, car-free streets in the city center and have lunch. In the afternoon, we will set foot at Cabo de Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. Continuing along the ocean coast, we will first pass Cape Guincho and then arrive at the “Boca de Inferno” cliffs near Cascais. We will descend into central Cascais and explore its fishing harbor. On the way back to Lisbon, we will pass through the affluent district of Estoril, famous for its casino, before arriving at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
LISBON - ISTANBUL (IST)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the city center by private vehicle. Free time until the time determined by our guide, followed by a transfer to the airport. After completing the ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, depart for Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at local time and end of the tour.
